Before I get into the much anticipated picks of the week, I must make a note that this week's record is so far 6-1...pretty good start. I wont show every game for the NFL...I will show around 6. This is what I consider to be my locks, so if you're looking for a game to pick, try these:
Cincy at BAL(-7.5)---Baltimore is good; but, how in the world can you call yourself an AFC power when you have losses to both JAX and SEA...makes you wonder which team will show up. Interesting stat: BAL is 4-0 when playing teams over .500, and 2-3 when playing teams .500 and below.
BUF (+1) vs MIA---Buffalo has slacked off, as predicted, over the last few weeks...couple that with Miami figuring out that you can only Suck for Luck so long when going up against the Colts, and you have an interesting game. BUF takes it by a touchdown after Ryan Fitzpatrick scientifically invents a cloaking device and scares Tony Sparano right out of his job.
SEA (+3) vs STL---I must be the only person crazy enough to think that, just last year, these two teams duked it out for the NFC West divisional crown...with records not to different this year. Thank you SF. Anyway, SEA, at home, 12th man, STL has little chance.
TEN at ATL (-5.5)---Atlanta is still a good team, regardless whether or not they have a serious case of identity crisis. Will it be the run game or the pass game? This one is banking on the run, because Cortland Finnegan is badass, and may just own Roddy White's hands, seeing as how they seem to have been missing for about a year.
PHI (+5.5) at NYG---They are a wonderful post-modernistic novel, terrible football team. Why; nobody seems to know. Could it be that they moved the O-line coach to the D-coordinator spot? Perhaps. Does Andy Reid feel as if his team is just waiting for the 5th quarter? Probably. Anyway, since their underdogs, and the spread is reasonable, I'll put my manhood on the line and say that they cover.
KC at NE (-12)---No comment. They just will.
Keep swaggin
